Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take Insurance?
I am in-network with Aetna in New York and New Jersey. For Out-of-Network clients, I use Thrizer for out-of-network billing so you might only be responsible for your copay. For individuals with a deductible, you will need to meet your deductible amount before insurance will cover sessions. I will inform you of your coverage details during the insurance verification process. Please note that for out-of-network billing you will need to meet the criteria for a mental health diagnosis and have out-of-network coverage with your plan.
What are your out of pocket rates?
My fee for an individual session is $150 for 1 hour and $125 for 45 minutes.
Do you offer a sliding scale?
I do not offer a sliding scale, but I do have a team of therapists that I supervise who have a similar style and are able to offer lower rates. I accept Loveland Fund vouchers. I also offer two time options to accommodate different budgets.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept debit cards, credit cards and HSA cards. I use Headway to bill insurance and Ivy Pay for self-pay or Thrizer for out-of-pocket billing.
What's the first step to starting therapy?
The first step would be to schedule a free 15 minute consultation to explore your goals for therapy and to ask me any questions that you would like to learn more about.
Do you offer virtual therapy?
Yes! I have transitioned to fully remotely. This has allowed me to make therapy more accessible and convenient for clients.
How would you describe your style?
A great way to describe my style is interactive and dynamic. New actions for new results is my motto! I love to deep dive with my clients, ask thought provoking questions and give meaningful feedback.
Do you work with children?

I provide services to adults (18+) and seniors (65+).
With virtual therapy can you see clients anywhere?

I only see clients who live in New York and New Jersey.
