Your Life, Reimagined
"Women are often given the message that you have to 'make it work', 'push through' and 'endure'. Life can be so much more and YOU deserve it!"
My Story
My journey into the field began with a desire to make sense of the women in my own family and patterns that I saw in my community. I couldn’t understand how the amazing women that I knew could be so strong, yet crumble into people pleasing and tolerate so much hurt in their personal relationships. One thing that has always been clear is that we deserve better! I received my clinical training at Columbia University and have over 11 years of experience as a therapist. I have worked as an adjunct professor at Columbia University, Fordham University, and continuing education instructor at Hunter College. The ethos of my practice is New Actions, for New Results! I help women to gain clarity into what's keeping them stuck and to take clear and decisive action to create change.

Therapy with me is more than just a place to process your feelings. I help women to understand what is impacting them and to help them to do something about it! My passion is working with women who are tired of feeling stuck, lost or behind in life. In addition to treating anxiety and depression, I also specialize in helping women heal from emotionally manipulative or neglectful parents. Many of my clients feel trapped in unhealthy relationships, unfulfilling careers, or that they have the potential for so much more, but they just haven't figured out how to reach it. Let’s partner together to clear away roadblocks and work towards the life that you envision for yourself.

There are two quotes that encapsulate the soul of my work with clients:

What We'll Work On:
"There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” Maya Angelou

Bring your fear, your restlessness, your frustration, your anger, your hopelessness, your pain. We'll channel it into your ambition, your motivation, your resilience, your courage, your hope, your deep yearning for more and make transformation happen!

How We'll Do It:
We can't solve problems with the same thinking that we used when [they were created] - Albert Einstein
I am all about change! I work with clients to identify what is keeping you stuck and to identify actionable steps that you can take. Often we are hindered by limiting beliefs, low esteem, negative thoughts, layers of unresolved pain, or confusion that prevents us from being able to see a path forward. Let's partner together to clear away the roadblocks and build the life that you want!

Outside of work I'm a wife and mother of two, an artist, a writer, a trekkie and a confident introvert ! The chapters of my story so far have included insecure girl, wallflower, overachiever, serial optimist, generational healer, pioneer and so much more. I have learned to embrace life as a beautiful tapestry that is being woven minute after minute. I am truly grateful for each day!
